Autism is NOT a joke

Perhaps, the word "autism" is not foreign to us. Word "autism" has become familiar and frequent words that we use in our daily lives.
But the question is: does the word 'autism' which we use in everyday life, we use it in the context it should be?
We often use the word "autism" instead of talking about autism. Not as well as our concern for autism. The fact is: we often mock our friends as "autistic" because they are busy with their gadget. Maybe we were just joking around and use the word "autism" without any purpose. But have we ever thought that the term "autism" that we use, can hurt other people hear. "Autism" is a word that may be sensitive to others who have an autistic child or sibling. Because the reality is that their child with autism is not a joke and mockery.
Maybe in this time, we can not provide much help for the people with autism. But our concern to not make fun of "autism" can reduce or at least not increase the burden for them.
